Leigh

Leigh was born and raised in Charlotte, NC, where she got her first pet, a cat named Chrissy, at the young age of 4 years old.

She knew since then she would always have a strong passion for animals and helping those in need. She started her career in Veterinary Medicine in 2005 when she started gaining her experience in emergency medicine and ICU care for hospitalized patients. Leigh has had many types of animals throughout her life, including dogs, cats, iguanas, and snakes! She currently has 5 dogs of various breeds named Maddi, Luci, Lilli, Mari, and Gunner. In her spare time, Leigh likes to spend time outside in the garden and loves baking delicious treats for all of her friends and family.
