Katy

Katy began her veterinary career in 2004.

While pursuing her degree in animal science from Virginia Tech, she also worked at the Virginia Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine. Upon graduation, she returned to North Carolina and continued working in general practice. Katy has always been drawn to surgery, in both the large and small animal fields. Katy has two horses, Lady and Grady, that she has enjoyed competing in eventing and show jumping over the years. She has a love for all herding breeds and will always have a German shepherd at home. Her current dogs are a German Shepherd named LeDoux and a miniature Australian Shepherd named Scarlett.
